Dissertation Topic
This study will contribute to the body of knowledge needed to address this problem by: (a) acknowledging reasons why instructors either embrace Facebook or demonstrate apprehension toward the use of online social networks, (b) investigate attributes of Facebook that make it appealing to students, (c) discuss elements of self-disclosure that impact the relationships people have with each other, and (d) examine if Facebook can enhance student perception of community.
